I have always been interested in how product videos can invoke the feeling of "wow, I should really buy this product"
A great example of this is Apple. Their product videos and keynote transitions are just so freaking cool!!
So, I wanted to have a stab at it.
I already do a lot of work on Solidworks so I thought I would do the rendering utilizing programs Dassault Systems had already made.
I also wanted to practice my skills so that I can make my Capstone project look REALLY good.
To start, I decided to find an online car model.
I wanted a specific one, but it would’ve cost me $95 for the model
My heart said yes, my wallet said no

Not exactly what I pictured. Far from perfect, and the geometry wasn’t ideal, but I worked with what I had and attempted to produce a video
20 hours of rendering later, and the video above is what came up!
